Founded in 2004, R&D Green Materials, LLC mission is to develop innovative processes and technologies based on plant-based materials that perform equivalent to synthetic plastics and other low-cost materials at equal or lower cost.
Depending upon the application and market, our business model can be contract product development, technical service, licensing, joint venturing, or manufacturing management. Our technical team has the capability to tackle customer problems with innovative environmentally friendly solutions that meet challenging performance and cost goals.
Now located in laboratories and offices at the University City Science Center in Philadelphia, PA the company has developed biomaterial prototypes suitable for manufacturing environmentally friendly wood composites, marine bioplastics, disposable and consumer packaging. All of R&D Green Materials innovations are biodegradable and compostable.
